Marco Di Marco is a visual journalist, photographer, videographer and certified driver-guide based in Iceland since 2018. His work spans editorial coverage, professional photography and video, production support and guiding, with extensive experience working across Iceland and around natural events.
I work in both English and Italian. I can therefore work directly with private clients, groups, media organisations, agencies and international productions in either language.
I provide photojournalism, professional photography, videography, production support, image and video licensing, guiding and private tours, as well as photography trips and workshops. Each service has a dedicated page with further details.
Photojournalism is primarily for editorial assignments, news coverage and media organisations. Photography covers commissioned professional work including editorial, commercial, institutional, landscape and environmental photography. Videography covers video work that I shoot and produce directly.

Yes. Part of my photography and video archive is available for editorial or commercial licensing. You can contact me to check the availability of specific images, footage or coverage of a particular event.
I work throughout Iceland and am not limited to Reykjavík. Feasibility depends on location, season, conditions and the time available for the assignment.
Private tours are built around the interests, available time and conditions of each trip. They can be general sightseeing experiences or place greater emphasis on photography, landscapes and natural phenomena. Guiding and transport services are provided in accordance with applicable regulations and through licensed operators where required.
Photography trips are designed for small groups and combine travel, photography and mentoring. The programme remains flexible so that it can respond to light, weather and local conditions, while the technical organisation is handled through a licensed tour operator. Dates, itineraries and specific conditions are listed on each trip page.
Use the Contact page and include the type of service, dates, location and the main details of the project or trip. The more information you can provide initially, the easier it is to assess feasibility and costs quickly.
Yes. When the project allows it, photography and video can be combined within the same assignment. The most effective approach depends on the required coverage, available time and production level.
Yes. I regularly use drones for both photography and video when the project calls for it. Aerial photography and drone footage are an important part of my work, across editorial assignments as well as photography and video productions. Each operation is still assessed according to the location, environmental conditions and applicable regulations.
Yes. I work with agencies, tour operators, DMCs and other professional partners requiring local guiding, on-the-ground support, photography or video services in Iceland.
As early as possible, particularly for multi-day trips, productions or assignments. For urgent editorial work, it is still worth contacting me at short notice, as availability varies throughout the year.
